The Department of Community Medicine & Public Health has innovative approach towards medical profession. The mission is to educate, train and develop public health competencies & skills among medical graduates in line with the changing demands of communities, country and world.
The Department of Community Medicine & Public Health is to prioritize holistic health diseases model with emphasis on all the important determinants of health with an aim to improve the health status of communities. Through holistic model approach and comprehensive promotive, preventive, curative & rehabilitative services the desired vision and mission will be achieved at end.
As KMU-IMS Kohat has adopted the integrated system and modular curriculum of KMU Peshawar, thus therefore objective of the Department of Community Medicine & Public Health are in line with the KMU University & KMU-IMS Kohat Medical College objectives and imparts education from 1st Professional MBBS to 4th Professional MBBS students.
