The Urology department at our teaching hospital comprises of 20 bedded wards, outpatient’s department and operation theater, dedicated to providing comprehensive urological services to the community. We specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of urinary tract and male reproductive system conditions, offering care that balances effective clinical services with educational and training responsibilities. Our team of skilled urologists, nurses, and allied health professionals work collaboratively to deliver patient-centered care, supported by evidence-based practices and focused on improving health outcomes. As a teaching hospital, we integrate clinical service with medical education and training to prepare future healthcare professionals for excellence in urology.
Our Urology course is specifically designed for medical students and trainees, emphasizing practical skills and clinical decision-making in common urological conditions. The curriculum includes foundational sciences, diagnostic techniques, management strategies, and surgical principles. The course features supervised clinical placements, interactive case discussions, and exposure to a broad spectrum of urological cases, preparing medical students and trainees to deliver safe and effective care in community and hospital environments.
